Important Inventions
There are many inventions that were important in the middle ages, but there are some that’s are more important then others. These inventions increase the population and cities more advanced. Most of these inventions were so important that they are still used today, and they can be used to help real world problems.

Most of these inventions were so important that they are still used today, and they can be used to help real world problems.
One of the most important inventions was a machine that turned wool into yarn. This invention was known as the Spinning Wheel. Although the spinning wheel was used to make yarn in India, the Chinese innovated the original to make it more advanced. They made theirs be able to weave silk into fabrics. Even though the Chinese innovated the spinning Wheel the Indians were the first to use it. The Spinning Wheel was used in the 11th century. This was very important to make cloths and other cloths. We don't really use these anymore now we use machines.

A very important invention to the middle ages was a contraption that allowed Horses to pull large objects with out being choked, Tis invention was known as the Horse Collar and is still used today. The Horse Collar was first introduced in Europe and the first people to use the Horse Collar were the Scandinavians. Horse Collars were used when plowing was needed or dragging luggage or carriages. When plowing or pulling the horse uses all force and uses the collar to pull as hard as possible.

Another invention to the middle ages was one that wasn’t as important as the others but still is used today. This invention held Lamps and Candles to light up the whole room, this invention was known as the Sconce. When a Sconce was made it was made to fit in with the rooms stile. They were used in Europe in the 17th century and were important during the night. The Sconce was used in bedrooms mostly when people had candle to light the room. The sconce is used today in houses and is now used with lamps instead of candles.

A very important invention to the middle ages and to our time is the Telescope. The telescope is a device used to study the skies or look at the stars for fun. There is more then one telescope now in our time then there was in the middle ages. There is the Gamma Ray, Mirror, Ultraviolet, Infrared, Radio, and reflecting, and optical telescopes. It was used in 1609 and was created by Galileo. It was made by grinding and polishing glass so that you could see far, without telescopes we wouldn’t know as much about the universe and sky.

These inventions are very important to the Middle age’s in history and to us today. They are all important in different ways but some are more important then others. They impact us in so many ways. In some ways we wouldn’t have as much food or education as we would with out these inventions. With out these inventions we wouldn’t be where we are know!
